100% Sangiovese . Podere San Giuseppe is a Biodynamic estate winery in Castelnuovo dell’Abate in the far south of the Montalcino - home of famous BRUNELLO , near the Abbey of Sant’Antimo and overlooked by Mount Amiata.  The Sangiovese here is made and aged (12 months) in same way as the Brunello and is simply bottled earlier.     Delicious and malty, lots of warmth and potentially wild flavour . Since 2006 this second wine of Chateau La Mission haut-Brion has been integrated into the Chapelle de la Mission Haut-Brion. La Tour Haut Brion is a classic, elegant, thoroughbred Pessac. Its bouquet develops aromas of cigar boxes, undergrowth and blackberry jam. Beautifully direct, well-balanced and delicate in the mouth. Remains one of the world's most ambitious and delicious red wines. Using mostly new oak, this Gold Winner Pinot Noir has an intense ruby color; profound aromas of ripe black fruits, spicy aromas of coffee and black pepper. A full mouthfeel with an elegant tannin structure brings with it spicy, black-currant  and dark cherry driven flavors leads to velvety finish and long aftertaste.  Food Coupling: Accompanies fish dishes and grilled white meats. Deep ruby red colour. Intense bouquet and persistent nose of ripe red fruit with cherry prevalence and notes of chocolate. Crisp and harmonious, with a spicy, mineral end and cherry aftertaste. Grapes: 100% Sangiovese from Cantina di Montalcino. Late (middle of October) accurate  harvest of the grapes that must be healthy and ripe.         Production Area: the hilly areas of the municipality of Montalcino (Siena). Vinification: Pressed by natural gravity, long maceration of the peels for 15-20 days, to increase the structure and the power of Sangiovese and extract tannins and colour. To be able to tame the polyphenols present a careful processing with delicate repassing. Aging in Slavonian oak barrels for 36 months (24 months in barrique and 12 months in large oak barrels) and  1 year in bottles minimum.

Grape variety: 100% Croatina(northern Primitivo /Zinfandel ); Average age of the vines: 20 – 30 years, very rear grape. Maturing: in French oak barrels for a minimum 18 months and in the bottle for a minimum of 6 months. Colour: intense ruby red. Aroma: vinous, ethereal, with notes of ripe fruits enhanced by a perceptible, yet faint, hint of wood. Taste: full, rich harmonious, which expresses the fragrance of Croatina grape with aftertaste of almond, raspberry and strawberry. Alcohol: 14%    

Winemakers note: "A Jammy fruit from beginning to end starting with aromas of blueberry pie, nutmeg and pepper. In the mouth, flavors expand to include boysenberry, plum, blueberry and spice. This full bodied wine has a bold tannin structure and balanced acidity that lead to a long finish. This big wine is anything but petite.”

This wine is a blend of 2 grape varieties which are Merlot 75% and Cabernet Franc 25%.On the palate, this wine is a powerful wine with a good balance between acidity and tannins. Ruby red color with aromas of green vegetables and chocolate. Medium bodied, extremely dry and tannic. Tart red fruit, mild vanilla oak, sour cherries, and cherry cough syrup on the finish.This wine generally pairs well with beef, lamb or game. The Lalande-de-Pomerol from Château Moulin de Lavaud is in the top 10 wines of Lalande-de-Pomerol.

A tiny 1.7 ha estate, the 30-50yo vines are planted in a sandy, gravelly alluvial soil, which overlies Tertiary clay.
