You're Probably Wondering
Why does American wine feel different the next morning?
Most American wine is engineered, not made. Large producers are legally permitted to add up to 76 different substances to their wine before it touches your glass — and none of it appears on the label. Mega Purple for artificial color. Sugars to hit a sweetness target. Oak chips for flavor. Sulfites well above European limits. Acid additives, fining agents, tannin powder. The result is wine that tastes engineered — consistent, yes, but flat. Forgettable. And for many people, harder on the body than wine made a different way.
76
additives legally permitted in US wine — and none require label disclosure
Mega Purple
Concentrated grape juice used to darken color and add artificial sweetness
Oak Chips
Industrial shortcut to simulate barrel aging — adds tannin without time
Added Sugars
Adjusts sweetness to hit a consumer preference target, not a flavor one
Tartaric Acid
Chemical acidification when the grapes didn't naturally develop enough
But Here's Why This Is Different
Wine the way it's
Every bottle in this case comes from a small family estate that has been farming organically for generations. No shortcuts. No additives. Nothing that isn't grapes, time, and craft.

actually made in Europe.

01
Zero Additives
No added sugar. No Mega Purple. No artificial acids or color agents. What's in the bottle is what grew in the vineyard — nothing more. You can taste the difference from the first glass.
02
Family Estates Only
We visit over 100 wineries to find one worth importing. Multi-generational estates with something at stake. Not corporate farms hitting a volume target — families who have been doing this the same way for decades.
03
Direct from Europe
We import directly, which means no distributor markup and no warehouse storage time. The wine reaches you fresher, at a truer price, with a provenance we can verify personally — because we were there.

The Beaune in this case — "Les Mariages," named for wedding parties who would spill out of banquets and mingle in this vineyard at the foot of the hill — retails at $53.90 a bottle. It is village-level Burgundy from a named Domaine, aged 20 to 24 months in oak. You will not find it at Costco.
The Rioja Reserva is from 2008. Seventeen years old, from 60-year-old vines in Rioja Alavesa — the smallest of the three Rioja sub-regions. Still fresh. Still alive. Made by a family that aged it 24 months in barrels and then waited another 24 months in bottle before releasing it.
As you read this, part of you already knows there's a difference between wine made this way and what fills most American shelves. This case is how you find out for certain.

"We visit over 100 wineries to find one worth importing. Most don't make the cut — not because the wine is bad, but because we can't verify exactly what went into it. Every estate in this case, we know personally."

What happens after
What happens after
the first case.
★★★★★
"I opened the Barbera on a Tuesday with no occasion. My husband asked where I'd been hiding this. I felt a kind of warmth that just settled — no sharpness, no heaviness after. We finished the bottle and both felt fine the next morning. That hasn't happened in years."
— Rachel M., Chicago
★★★★★
"George selected a case for my family at Thanksgiving. My father — who has been drinking wine for 40 years — tasted the Barbera and went quiet for a moment. Then he said 'this is what it used to taste like.' That was the whole review."
— Marco P., San Francisco
★★★★★
"I bought the case skeptically. The Super Tuscan proved me completely wrong — it tasted alive in a way I hadn't experienced outside of a restaurant in Italy. The Rioja Reserva at that price is honestly embarrassing. I reordered before I finished the case."
— David T., New York

Here's Exactly How It Works
No surprises.
Why do many people say they feel better the next day?
Many customers tell us they wake up feeling different after our wines. Our producers use low-sulfite, no-additive methods — no added sugars, no artificial acids, no Mega Purple. Individual responses vary, but the pattern across 12,000+ customers is consistent enough that we let the reviews speak for themselves.
How is this different from organic wine at the grocery store?
Most "organic" labels refer only to how the grapes were farmed — not what happens in the winery. Winemaking additives aren't covered by organic certification. We verify both: the farming and the winemaking process. We've visited every estate. We know exactly what's in each bottle because we asked, repeatedly.
What if I don't like one of the wines?
Contact us within 14 days and we make it right — replacement, credit, or refund. We've shipped over 50,000 bottles with less than 1% issue rate. We make it easy to get your money back because we're that confident you won't need to.
Can I reorder the same case or specific bottles?
Yes — every bottle in this case is available individually on the site. Many customers start with this case, find one or two bottles they love, and reorder those directly. Some join our wine club for a curated case each quarter. There's no obligation after this order.
How fast does it ship?
Orders ship within 48 hours and arrive in 3–6 days depending on your location. Shipping is included in the $159. You'll receive a tracking number the moment it leaves our warehouse.
