Bright, Crisp Whites

Fresh, full-bodied, and harmonic 100% Pinot Grigio from Provincia di Pavia very old wine region called Oltrepo Pavese - meaning Pavia across the  Po river) is Lombardy's westernmostnprovince and borders Piemointe.  Intense notes of white flowers and exotic fruits. Matured in the bottle - this wine has the very pleasant fumé of dried fruit. All natural wine, no additives or chemicals added .

You can find this Greco di Tufo in the Pope Francis' menu!  Aged in the bottle. Transparent as tears pale straw deep yellow / orange with greenish highlights. Tasting Notes: floral, flavors of apple and pear, together with tropical fruit nuances with an important note of melon. Very fresh for the high acidity. With its sugary residue it also gives a nice sense of roundness. Maybe there is the better white (orange ) wine in the world... Grape: authentic 100% Greco from the region Campania, Tufo Village (Italy) Vintage: 2015. The great changes in temperature have made this year among the best harvests in the last 10 years Food-Wine Pairing: shellfish, raw fish and soups, raw meet, turkey and white meat Vinification: The grapes are harvested in 3(!) different periods: 1- with the clusters still green, to extract the acidity; 2- grapes are perfectly ripe; 3- The late harvest in 2 months from the 1st to obtain high concentrations of sugars. All are pressed separately and then mixed in a single wine. Steel barrels at mixed temperatures which also go below 0. The aging in bottle stabilized the wine.

It has an intense and characteristic aroma, reminiscent of elderberry, broom, pink grapefruit, and mango - in perfect harmony. On the palate it reveals itself as fresh with very good structure and gutsy. Food-Wine Coupling: Goes well with early season risottos and substantial, elaborate first courses. Winemakers note:  our Chardonnay grow up in the Langhe hills, in a tuffaceous calcareous soil.  Our Bliss Blanc Chardonnay is made with the cryomaceration method which is the cold processing of grapes that allows the extraction of as many primary aromas as possible from the skins of the grapes. The result is a product with marked floral and fruity scents. A fresh, delicate, elegant product with its rich hints of flowers and fruits. The perfume is a mix of floral and fruity notes, in particular white and yellow flowers can be perceived, as well as notes of peach, apple and pear. On the palate it is well structured, enveloping and with a great balance between flavor and acidity; the finish is persistent and elegant hints of vanilla can be perceived. Wine critics notes: Elegant and expressive, this wine has a very delicate  complex nose of exotic fruits and vanilla. Aromas of freshly cut lime,  dried apple,  peach and  followed by almonds on the palate. It’s medium-bodied with crisp acidity and a smooth, almost waxy texture. The lengthy finish leaves a lasting impression in its clean and powerful feel. Grape: 100% Chardonnay from Piemonte
