Grapes: 100% Barbera, are selected from single vineyard from 30year old vines from one of the oldest cattle in Alba -Casttle Cavour. Aging in oak barriques for 8 months, and is bottled unfiltered. Ruby purple color with ripe red cherry aromas, black fruit and vanilla. With hints of violets Barbera D'Alba is slightly rounder in structure than the Barbera d'Asti.The palate is full and balanced, it shows bright acidity, soft tannins with good integration of oak, good complexity and a lingering cherry finish. 2 bottles in stock.
