Merlot/CabFranc blend. Taste: Rich and already complex with a nice warm touch of wood. Light ripe prunes, cherry pits, earthy and almost port-like, yet very elegant. A nice balance, layered with fine acidity and ripe tannins. Great length with clean fruit in the aftertaste. This wine showcases Pomerol and optimally ripe Merlot at its best for an affordable price.
