B. R. Cohn Winery of Bruce Cohn’s 45+ years of rock-n-roll managing The Doobie Brothers, has been making small lot, vineyard designated wines since 1984. Nestled between Sonoma Mountain and the Mayacamas Mountain range, the winery offers an inviting, relaxed environment for discovering new wines. Mentored by Charlie Wagner of Caymus, Bruce began producing his own wines in 1984.Charlie Wagner then bestowed the greatest honor upon the winery, permitting the use of Caymus’ trademarked ”Special Selection” on the best lots from the estate.

Spices also wrap around the nose while on the palate suggestions of currant, blackberry and rhubarb evolve, becoming a spice rack of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. A touch of vanilla mingles with more earthy notes of tobacco leaf and cigar box. As the wine opens up, the tannins - while present - integrate into the finish. Alcohol 14. 1%
