2003 Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG Vd Gaso San Rustico

Grapes: Corvina/Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara.
Grapes are selected and hand picked , then are directly laid down either on racks or mats, for about 3 months with an average loss of 30% approx.Refining in Slavonia and Allier oak casks for about 36+ months, plus about 12 months in bottles. Deep garnet red colour. Etheral, lightly spicy with sensation of almond, cherries. Warm, full-bodied and velvety bitter after-taste.

The San Rustico has a long tradition in wine management, having already begun the activity since 1870 in Marano di Valpolicella, in the heart of the classic area.
