The grapes are collected on the basis of sensory analysis in the pre-harvest period: maximum maturation of skins and tannins is sought.

It is refined in small oak barrels with 500 l capacity where the malolactic fermentation takes place for a period of 14-16 months. It is bottled without filtering to preserve its maximum integrity. It is then refined in the bottle for at least 4 months. Amazing bouquet of blackberries and ripe black fruits, violets, and black truffles, with hints of graphite and spice. Well balanced on the palate, remarkable soft power and finesse, fantastic structure and velvety round tannins and a long, complex finish. It’s so wonderful that you want to drink it when you taste it.

Collio DOC area is located in the extreme North of Italy, among Slovenia, Austria and the Julian Alps. This charming borderland features ample surfaces facing south, which are perfect for highly qualified viticulture. Here, vine growing dates back to pre-Roman times, and DOC was established in 1968. These hilly areas give origin to Collio DOC Pinot Grigio , a wine which expresses the vocation and potentiality of this area full of history, tradition and energy.
