The history of Besini Winery starts in 2004 when the company owners came together in Tsinandali, Kakheti, and planted our first vineyards after careful selection of soil and high quality vines, in order to harvest top quality grapes for our extraordinary wines.

All corks have broke off in bottle

Really conflicted… Because this wine actually taste great…. BUT we have had to drill and or filter out every single cork from every bottle we have opened up so far..
I don’t know if it’s because the corks itself are cheap or they’re just dried out… I have also gifted some of our friends bottles and the same thing as happened to them… It’s very embarrassing and very inconvenient…
Would like to order more wine in the future, but not if we have to go through this every time

Happy to hear the wine tastes great. Regarding the cork, I'm not sure what could have happened. I personally have never had an issue with the cork from this Saperavi, and no other customer has brought such an issue to my attention before. However, we would advise you to order a special wine opener for older wines (5+ years) like so: https://www.amazon.com/DeVine-Wine-Opener-Vintage-Bottles/dp/B00TNSV4DC?th=1. I use this opener for wines dated 30+ years with no problem.
