Free express shipping. First Growth. Premier Grand Cru Classe in 1855.
Château Margaux 2004 is a great classic vintage. There is great finesse and above all purity on the nose in this subtle combination of floral, fruit and spice aromas; all are clearly present, but no single aroma dominates. On the palate, the tannic structure is tight-knit, fine and tender. The general impression is firstly balance, precision, freshness and finally an air-light grace which can only be found in great Margaux. Drink 2020-2050.

2001 Chateau Thibeaud-Maillet Pomerol, Bord...
$159.00
FREE shipping.Thibeaud-Maillet is a real jewel.This appelation produces some of the most famous and sought after wines in Bordeaux such as Chateau Petrus, which lies only 400 meters from Chateau Thibeaud-Maillet! A tiny 1.7 ha estate, the 30-50yo vines are planted in a sandy, gravelly alluvial soil, which overlies Tertiary clay. The wines from this estate have a subtle, teasing, complex fruit with a silky delivery on the palate. For drinking now to 2025+.
Merlot/CabFranc blend. Taste: Rich and already complex with a nice warm touch of wood. Light ripe prunes, cherry pits, earthy and almost port-like, yet very elegant. A nice balance, layered with fine acidity and ripe tannins. Great length with clean fruit in the aftertaste. This wine showcases Pomerol and optimally ripe Merlot at its best for an affordable price.

2006 Bond Quella, Napa Valley Red Wine
$529.00
Dense purple, this wine comes across as the most austere of any of these wines. This dense, rich, elegant wine displays impressive notes of espresso roast intermixed with blackberry and floral-infused blue fruits, but in the finish the tannins kick in, and the wine seems closed and in need of considerable aging. Good to drink it from 2026 or after.
Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon.

Barnett Vineyards "Rattlesnake Hill" 2005 C...
$289.00
Variety : 100% Cabernet Sauvignon;
Typically tannic, in the way of Spring Mountain Cabs, the '05 is a dramatically structured wine that dazzles with power. Made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon, it shows classic varietal flavors of black currants, cherries, licorice and spices, while mostly new French oak adds the perfect facade of smoky wood. Fabulous now with decanting and over rich fare such as steak, the wine should age gracefully for at least a decade. Superripe, though balanced and richly flavored, with tiers of succulent currant, wild berry and blackberry fruit that's broad, expansive, intense and persistent. 450 cases made

The 1989 Angélus is a vintage that I have tasted multiple times from various formats. It remains one of my favorite of that era. Still quite deep in color, it has a glorious, almost hubristic bouquet of layers of lush black cherries, cedar, sage and meat juice aromas as it moves assuredly into its secondary phase. The palate has always been very harmonious and smooth, the tannins finer than preceding vintages. There is lovely grip here, and black truffle and smoky notes appear on the finish. A quite marvelous Château Angélus. Tasted at the château.

Its creamy body blends harmoniously with a vibrant freshness and a lingering, elegant perlage.This masterpiece pairs perfectly with seafood, fried fish, or tender veal to perfectly round off the tasting experience. Treat yourself to this exquisite champagne and enjoy an unforgettable moment full of refinement and luxury." One of the most recognisable Champagnes in the world, the success of Veuve (meaning “widow” in French) Clicquot can be attributed to the woman who turned around a business on the brink of collapse into the behemoth it is today. Born Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, she was married to Francois Clicquot in 1798 in an attempt by both families to consolidate their respective business interests. The modern day Maison of Veuve Clicquot possesses one of the finest champagne vineyards, both in terms of its size and the quality of its vines. Its 390 hectares are divided between 12 of the 17 Grands Crus, and between 20 of the 44 Premiers Crus that constitute the entire Champagne region. This exceptional heritage was built up over the centuries, founded upon the parcels first established by the founder, and added to by subsequent vineyard directors. In particular, Veuve Clicquot bears the fortuitous territorial mark of Madame Clicquot."

2004 Sanctuary Bien Nacido Vineyard Santa M...
$139.00
Winemaker Dennis Martin focuses on Blocks N, G and Q from Bien Nacido Vineyard that are planted primarily to the Pommard clone. Aged 15 months in primarily Francois Frèrés oak barrels, 60% new and 40% once-used. · The exotic nose includes cooked cherries, burnt toffee and spice. The flavors remind me of an arugula salad with strawberries and cherries (there is a subtle note of pepper in arugula which is also typical of Pinot Noir from Bien Nacido Vineyard). Lush and voluptuous, but elegant and balanced, this is a complete Pinot of distinction. Impressive debut.
