Very low stock Grapes: 100% Barbera Aging in casks for 6+ months, bottled unfiltered. Dazzling garnet color. Aromatics of red fruit, herbs and bramble. The palate shows blackberry, stewed raspberry, wild fennel, rainier cherry, a touch of mint and white pepper—with a dusty, pleasantly drying tannin that is perfectly balanced by the wine's lively acidity. Porello was founded in 1930 by Cesare Porello when the region was not yet known for its wines, but rather its peaches. After WWII, his sons, Riccardo and Ettore, went against the tendency of the times, and dedicated themselves instead to working in the vineyards. Today, Marco Porello is the third generation of his family to craft wines from the family estate in Roero, located northwest of Alba on the left bank of the Tanaro River in the Piedmont region. Porello has 15 hectares of vines located in two of Roero’s twenty-three villages, and in some of the region’s most highly regarded vineyard locations, including Mombirone in Canale and Tanone in Vezza d’Alba. The grapes for this 100% Barbera were harvested by hand, destemmed and subsequently fermented in temperature controlled stainless-steel vats. After being gently pressed, the resulting wine was aged in a combination of wooden cask, stainless steel and cement and bottled unfiltered. Food pairing: antipasti,  grilled seasoned vegetables, stews, pastas, breaded veal, pork or chicken milanese with light sauces.

Variety : 100% Nebbiolo This Barbaresco comes from the vineyard in Neive and is 350 meters above sea level. The soil is with marl calcareous with a South exposure. The vineyard is composed exclusively old Nebbiolo. A traditional vinificiation of the grapes for 12 days with several pump overs during the day and a controlled temperature of 30/ 35 ° C to optimize extraction. After a rest in stainless steel for 5 months the wine matures in oak for 24 months then is left to age in the bottle until being sold. A ruby red colour with garnet reflexes. On the nose wild roses, raspberries and cinnamon. In the mouth it is dry and warm with sensations of vanilla, tobacco, leather and green tea leaves. A fresh, smooth Pinot Grigio from Ciabot in Pavia, made from old-vine fruit in the Oltrepò Pavese area. Aromas of white flowers, pear, and citrus lead into a clean, rounded palate with a soft exotic fruit note. The wine is matured a bit longer in bottle, giving it a subtle dried-fruit nuance and a light, natural smoky character that adds depth without heaviness. All natural wine with no additives or chemicals. Just real Pinot Grigio from a small family producer. Pairings: perfect with salads, sushi, grilled vegetables, seafood, roasted chicken, and light pastas.
