Marta Rosa
Hibisco Montepulciano D'Abruzzo 2016 DOC
$42.90
GREAT WINE: Juicy and floral on the nose with flavors, full of black, compact fruit. The mouth is dry and juicy with abundant and dense tannins that make the taste silky and full, giving a final round and fruity taste. One of the smoothest and most delicate wine we have ever tried. TSW .
Grape: 100% Montepulciano from Abruzzo
All Marta Rosa wines are selected by Luca Martini, who is rated the best sommelier in the world.
The white hibiscus flower contains a meaning of purity and inner enlightenment, while the purple flower symbolizes wealth... as the Montepulciano in Abruzzo. In the language of love, to give a red hibiscus is to say to a beloved “how beautiful you are!” Montepulciano is full of charm and of this essence of love. Rich, juicy and extremely sensual.

Camparo
3 PACK Diano D'Alba 2015 DOCG Superiore
$51.50
$66.00
3 btls pack. Intense ruby red, with slightly spicy and vinous aromas of wild berries and cherries. Velvety, soft and full-bodied on the palate, with an almondy aftertaste.
This is one of Camparo's most representative wines, as it is the most characteristic of the only village where it is produced - Diano d'Alba. Our Sori is Bric Camparo. Sori means a vineyard with the best exposure to the sun in the local Piedmontese region. This is one of the Langa's historic wines, so it goes wonderfully with our local dishes as well as others, such as tagliatelle with meat sauce, filled pastas, cold cuts, boiled meats, poultry and semi-hard cheeses.
Diano d'Alba can be called the local farmer's wine. It used to be the most popular wine to drink with meals in the Langhe region. We like to enjoy this very simple, yet equally magnificent wine at both lunch and dinner.

2001 Riserva Ducale Oro, Chianti Classico D...
$105.90
Critic tasting note: " 90 per cent Sangiovese with 10 per cent of Colorino, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This has a fairly youthful garnet colour and quite a dark, earthy character on the nose with some sour cherry and plum fruit. On the palate there's a note of espresso-like darkness to this, with more of that plummy fruit, with a plum-skin bite of darkness and acidity, and polished tannins in the background. Whilst it doesn't display the lightness of touch of some, with a little more heft and depth, it is a lovely wine." - 90/100, Tom Cannavan
