Sunny St. Helena winery dates back to the 1930's and is called Merryvale Winery today. It's located on Main Street right across from Gott's Roadside and produces beautiful wines (including one of my all time favorites called Profile). Bold, rich and  with aromas of black cherry and currant, followed by full-bodied, complex flavors of blackberry, chocolate and smoky oak that come together in a long  elegant finish. The intense and elegant flavors of the 1996  St Helena Cabernet Sauvignon would be ideal in 3rd day after opening  or long decanting.

The Carneros Estate Pinot Noir is Donum's flagship wine. We select only the best fruit that represents the expressive terroir of Carneros.Since Donum's inception in 2001, we have continued to craft our Carneros Estate Pinot Noir from a diverse selection of Dijon and heirloom clones across our 95-acre vineyard. The fruit is harvested and fermented separately and later transferred to French oak barrels to age for up to 16 months. In the final month, we select only the best barrels representing the terroir of our Carneros region in the finished blend.TASTING NOTES: Deep ruby to garnet in color, the 2020 Carneros Estate Pinot Noir shows classic Pinot Noir aromas of black cherry and currant with hints of violet and flint. The palate is brooding with blueberry and blackberry joined by graphite, roasted meat and olive notes. The finish is rich and concentrated with cardamom joined by dark fruit flavor. FREE shipping. Limited availability. The 2006 Dom Pérignon comes from a very rich vintage with an early ripeness that brought a lot of aromatic maturity. The white-golden prestige cuvée contains a bit more Chardonnay than Pinot Noir and opens with a deep and seductive, pretty accessible nose with intense yet fresh fruit aromas of pineapples, with peaches and tangerines.  La Tour de By is unquestionably one of the leading Cru Bourgeois properties in the Médoc. Château is a stately building dating back to 1876, while the wines are Cabernet-dominated. The wine is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. It is matured in oak barriques (20% new) for 14 months. With lively and spicy blackcurrant fruit and bolstered by a framework of well-integrated toasty oak. 89points
