It opens with a fragrant dried cranberry and spicy blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth, and really coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a mild black currant with spicy blackberry and blueberry mixed in. There were notes of mild oak noted on the back palate as well. A perfect combination of silky tannins, warmth of alcohol and roundnessof glycerine all enhancing to enjoy hints of spices, dried cherries, chocolate and cranberries.
