Grapes: 100% Barbera, "Tradizione, as the name suggests, does evoke the storied traditions of Piemontese winemaking. Aged in Slavonian oak casks (instead of French barrique)for 6 Months the wine exhibits bright berry aromas with raw tones of raspberries and white cherries." - Wine Enthusiast . Ruby purple color with ripe red cherry aromas and vanilla. Barbera d'Alba Tre Donne is  rounder in structure than the Barbera d'Asti. Mint, fruit with cocoa and chocolate and vanilla spice all with well balanced tannins and acidity with good integration of oak, good complexity and a lingering cherry finish.
