100% Sangiovese . Podere San Giuseppe is a Biodynamic estate winery in Castelnuovo dell’Abate in the far south of the Montalcino - home of famous BRUNELLO , near the Abbey of Sant’Antimo and overlooked by Mount Amiata.  The Sangiovese here is made and aged (12 months) in same way as the Brunello and is simply bottled earlier.     Delicious and malty, lots of warmth and potentially wild flavour . Dry and hot, sweet fruit, starting to go volatile and acetone, ripe and sweet, delicious, clear wild fruit. 

90 points Wine Spectator: Smooth texture, with firm, complex, coffee ground, currant, leather and spice, showing a beefy side on the finish, where the tannins firm up. Well-balanced. (JL -2002).  The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for Provenance Vineyards come from the renowned Rutherford sub-appellation of Napa Valley, California. These grapes are grown by respected grower Andy Beckstoffer in classic Rutherford soil, which has excellent drainage and protection from the drying wind. The 2000 is very much in a Bordeaux style - exceptional length and balance with bright, red cherry fruit Bordeaux blend: 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot, 5% Petite Sirah

Grapes: 75% Corvina, 20% Rondinella and 5% Negrara/Rossignola.Drying time is 3+months. Maturation in new french barriques plays a key role in balancing the tannins while subduing the more youthful of the aromas. Maceration time 28 days.Aged  total 36+ months:  for 12+ months in oak and in barriques for 15 months. Blended together for 4+ months. Matured in bottle at least for 9 months. Vigorous full-bodied wine, which is warm and inviting but not overly alcoholic. Very deep ruby red colour. Intense, persitent and complex smell of fruit. A perfect combination of silky tannins, warmth of alcohol and roundnessof glycerine all enhancing to enjoy hints of spices, dried cherries, chocolate and cranberries. Food coupling: Ideal with game, grilled meats, stews and well mature cheeses. To be served at 18°-20°C it is recommended to open the bottle 2 hours in advance before serving.

Willamette Valley, Oregon- Lithe, ripe and appealing for its cedar-accented blackberry and plum flavors, with a tobacco note adding interest to the firm-textured finish. Shea Wine Cellars is a producer of world-class Pinot Noir. Intense ripe fruit from start to finish.  Soft tannins, moderate length.      

Variety : 100% Nebbiolo This Barbaresco comes from the vineyard in Neive and is 350 meters above sea level. The soil is with marl calcareous with a South exposure. The vineyard is composed exclusively old Nebbiolo. A traditional vinificiation of the grapes for 12 days with several pump overs during the day and a controlled temperature of 30/ 35 ° C to optimize extraction. After a rest in stainless steel for 5 months the wine matures in oak for 24 months then is left to age in the bottle until being sold. A ruby red colour with garnet reflexes. On the nose wild roses, raspberries and cinnamon. In the mouth it is dry and warm with sensations of vanilla, tobacco, leather and green tea leaves. Food: Pairs with red meats, cheeses and it excellent as a meditation wine. organic, Piemonte . Very Low stock. 

Winemaker Dennis Martin focuses on Blocks N, G and Q from Bien Nacido Vineyard that are planted primarily to the Pommard clone. Aged 15 months in primarily Francois Frèrés oak barrels, 60% new and 40% once-used. · The exotic nose includes cooked cherries, burnt toffee and spice. The flavors remind me of an arugula salad with strawberries and cherries (there is a subtle note of pepper in arugula which is also typical of Pinot Noir from Bien Nacido Vineyard). This wine is a blend of 2 grape varieties which are Merlot 75% and Cabernet Franc 25%.On the palate, this wine is a powerful wine with a good balance between acidity and tannins. Ruby red color with aromas of green vegetables and chocolate. Medium bodied, extremely dry and tannic. Tart red fruit, mild vanilla oak, sour cherries, and cherry cough syrup on the finish.This wine generally pairs well with beef, lamb or game. The Lalande-de-Pomerol from Château Moulin de Lavaud is in the top 10 wines of Lalande-de-Pomerol.  

The wine is made from traditional Carmigiano grapes - Sangiovese, Cabernet and Canaiolo grow in the historic ancient Medici property known as "Barco Reale" - meaning Royal Property - which was established in 1626 that was a hunting preserve surrounded by walls over 30 miles long. Barco Reale is a younger version of Carmignano that received DOC status in 1994. It prodiced by the Nobil casa Contini Bonacossi  at Capezzana in Carmignano , Tuscani. Purplish dark and deep red with ruby red shades. On the nose, sweet, ample, elegant, very intense and fruity with light tones of oak. Soft, voluminous, ample with sweet tannins of medium density in good balance with the acidity. Fruity, long lasting finish. Alc: 13.5%

The 2006 Melville Pinot Noir from Sta. Rita Hills is a highly-rated wine known for its complexity, rich fruit flavors, and elegant profile. While the vintage is a bit older, reviews suggest it was a successful year for the region, showing smooth tannins and fresh fruit. Very low stock Grapes: 100% Barbera Aging in casks for 6+ months, bottled unfiltered. Dazzling garnet color. Aromatics of red fruit, herbs and bramble. The palate shows blackberry, stewed raspberry, wild fennel, rainier cherry, a touch of mint and white pepper—with a dusty, pleasantly drying tannin that is perfectly balanced by the wine's lively acidity. Porello was founded in 1930 by Cesare Porello when the region was not yet known for its wines, but rather its peaches. After WWII, his sons, Riccardo and Ettore, went against the tendency of the times, and dedicated themselves instead to working in the vineyards. Today, Marco Porello is the third generation of his family to craft wines from the family estate in Roero, located northwest of Alba on the left bank of the Tanaro River in the Piedmont region. Porello has 15 hectares of vines located in two of Roero’s twenty-three villages, and in some of the region’s most highly regarded vineyard locations, including Mombirone in Canale and Tanone in Vezza d’Alba. The grapes for this 100% Barbera were harvested by hand, destemmed and subsequently fermented in temperature controlled stainless-steel vats. After being gently pressed, the resulting wine was aged in a combination of wooden cask, stainless steel and cement and bottled unfiltered. Food pairing: antipasti,  grilled seasoned vegetables, stews, pastas, breaded veal, pork or chicken milanese with light sauces.

Grapes: 100% Barbera, are selected from 3 top vineyards of Monforte, Barolo and Castiglione Falletto; aging in casks for 6 months, and is bottled unfiltered. Ruby purple color with ripe red cherry aromas and vanilla. With hints of violets the Barbera d'Alba Tre Vigne is slightly rounder in structure than the Barbera d'Asti. On the palate it shows bright acidity, soft tannins with good integration of oak, good complexity and a lingering cherry finish. Food pairing: antipasti, rich salads, grilled seasoned vegetables, hearty soups/stews, pastas or with breaded veal, pork, chicken with light sauces.     Very low stock.
