An exceptional wine for exceptional moments. The 2012 red wines of Alto Adige are very fruity, with a pronounced character that is typical of the variety, and juicy tannins.  Blend: 50% Merlot 25% Cabernet Sauvignon 25% Cabernet Franc Spontaneous fermentation in the wooden fermentation vat; three-week mash maceration; placed into the new wooden barrels. (70% new oak) in early-November; spontaneous malolactic fermentation; 18 months in small barrels with two racking; bottled in May of 2014, with a light filtration. Low stock

Bright ruby red in the glass with a multi-layered aromatic profile combining fresh cassis and cranberries wi the slightly balsamic and ear thy, fleshy notes reminiscent of coffee and eucalyptus. Firm and power ful on the palate wi the hints of dark berries and peppery notes, soft , very fine-grained tannin. Delicate and slightly minerally finish with lots of finesse. An exceptional wine for exceptional moments. Red blend: 60% Merlot , 40% Cab. Sauv Spontaneous fermentation in the wooden fermentation vat; three-week mash maceration; placed into the new wooden barrels.
