Pale ruby colour with garnet reflections.Supple red fruit expression on the nose, light incense note on the palate and gently savoury drive. Lively acidity in perfect balance with sweet and refined tannins. Long mineral and salty finish.
Hand-harvested in early October. Fruit is pressed then fermented in stainless steel tanks for 35- 40 days during which time full malolactic fermentation occurs. Aged 24+ months in large Slavonian oak barrels or bottle, then bottle aged an additional 12 months in bottle.

Very nicely balanced Brunello. A little smoke on the front palate, and then it's all textbook. Licorice, brambly black fruit, tart cherry. Nice acidity at the finish.

Aged for 24 months as regular Brunello Ridolfi and then another 8 months in large Slavonian oak barrels , after wine rest for additional 12 months in bottle.
