A characterful red from the Les Chambres lieu dit in Chassagne-Montrachet. Brilliant ruby with purplish highlights. Aromas of Morello cherry, cherry pit, wild strawberry, gooseberry, and raspberry, with subtle animal and spice notes. On the palate it has real substance and fleshy fruit that partly cloaks youthful tannins. With a few years of bottle age it gains concentration and layered complexity.
