Anderson's Conn Valley Vineyards is a California winery known primarily for its high-end Cabernet Sauvignon.  A Napa Valley Cab through and through, this 100% Cabernet from the impressive 2007 vintage is aged for 18 months in 60-gallon French oak barrels. The oak influence is subtle and really complements the blackberry and currant fruit. It leads with a heady nose of black tea, new leather, coffee, chocolate, purple flowers and fruit, all of which carry over to the palate, which is full and sweet but impeccably balanced..

Dino Illuminati, grandson of Nico who began the winery in 1890, has brought the family owned winery to new heights with advanced winemaking technology and skilled craftsmanship. Zanna has an intense ruby red color that tends to garnet red as it ages, with an aroma of blackberries, fruits, and flowers. This wine has a robust structure and a great personality, between tasting complexity and an extraordinary pleasantness, in total absence of sugars: notes that are combined with a long aftertaste that blends harmoniously with its fresh minerality.  Our Pas Dosé Riserva is the most eminent and representative product of the Ca’ d’Or sensory richness. It has an intense golden yellow color with copper hues. Made in purity, gives intense and complex fragrances on the nose, with peculiar notes of green tobacco, walnut and cassis recalls. A ruby red color with garnet reflexes. On the nose wild roses, raspberries and cinnamon. In the mouth it is dry and warm with sensations of vanilla, tobacco, leather and green tea leaves. Grape : 100% Nebbiolo. The vineyard is composed exclusively for old Nebbiolo. A traditional vinificiation of the grapes for 12 days with several pump overs during the day and a controlled temperature of 30/ 35 ° C to optimize extraction.  Grapes variety : Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara and other grapes in small quantities.  Vinification: wine obtained with rigorously selected grapes which, after a period of 3-4 months of drying and over-ripening in the fruit cellar, are pressed and fermented at low temperatures. The refinement takes place in steel tanks for 6 months and subsequently in oak barrels for up to 36 months.. intense red color tending towards garnet, with strong aromas of berries, cherries and black cherries in alcohol. On the palate it recalls persistent flavors of plums, bitter almonds, licorice and various spices; extremely elegant full-body and long finish.  Food coupling: suitable with robust meat and game dishes, as well as mature and spicy cheeses. Serve at 18-20°C.

100% Sangiovese . Podere San Giuseppe is a Biodynamic estate winery in Castelnuovo dell’Abate in the far south of the Montalcino - home of famous BRUNELLO , near the Abbey of Sant’Antimo and overlooked by Mount Amiata.  The Sangiovese here is made and aged (12 months) in same way as the Brunello and is simply bottled earlier.     Delicious and malty, lots of warmth and potentially wild flavour . Dry and hot, sweet fruit, starting to go volatile and acetone, ripe and sweet, delicious, clear wild fruit.
