  Low stock The fruity and intense flavor of Taurasi wine is completed by delicious notes of vanilla, licorice and chocolate. Its typical color is ruby red with an orangey tinge that become stronger while the wine ages.The origins of Taurasi wine date back to the pre-Roman era. The Aglianico grape variety, from which Taurasi wine is produced, is called “Hellenic” - originating in Greece. Taurasi wine was named after “Taurasia”, a little village that was taken over by Romans after they defeated Hirpinis in the 80 AC. The Romans then moved thousands of settlers here from Liguria to work in the vineyards. Dissegna Prosecco  DOC Extra Dry (Spumante) is from the magnificent hills north of Venice, where the grapes of this Spumante ripen. The wide temperature changes between day and night create an ideal microclimate that gives the wine a characteristic refinement, a pleasant freshness and an intense aroma of golden apple and meadow flowers. Well structured in taste, on the palate it is harmonious and it reveals a pleasantly lingering flavor. Grape: Organic Glera - authentic prosecco grapes . 100 percent Merlot from the Collio hills of Friuli. RedMont comes from mature vines planted between 1967 and 2000 on alluvial soils with marl deposits. It is fermented at 26°C with 20 days on skins and gentle manual punch downs, then aged about 24 months in 500 liter oak barrels. Bottled without filtration to preserve purity, it rests a minimum of 4 months in bottle before release.
