Produced in the hilly area of Roncà on volcanic soil ,famous Soave region. Bright straw yellow color. This wine recalls a floral and varietal fragrance next to scents that recall Acacia honey, nectarines, orange peel, and marjoram. On the palate, it is fresh and salty, revealing balance, and it is also characterized by a pleasant almond aftertaste/finish. Smoothly "rolling" when drink.   Dense cherry red color with hints of raspberry. First impressions on the palate are voluminous and soft, with a silky-smooth finish. Produced by the exceptional Cantina Kaltern winery from the Südtirol/Alto Adige DOC region. Food-Wine Coupling: Heavier meat courses, game and piquant hard cheeses. Grape: Pinot Nero Age of vines: 6-21 years; Age ability: 2022; Acc:13.5% East-facing, sloping vineyards located at 450 – 550 meters above sea level. Loamy, chalky gravel with a small proportion of sand. Fermentation on the skins at 23 °C with an eight days extended maceration, malolactic and a 4-month aging in big wooden barrels and large casks. It is believed to come from Meath Gaelic meaning “heady”, as the grape from which it is produced, Muscat, is vinified dry. When a Polynesian says “maeva”, he opens his home, name, and heart to the person who is in front of him.
